The
Club Lawn is like a breath of fresh air in the
busy city of Kolkata. Large in size, practically
covering the full width of the club periphery,
the club lawn is used for many a activity. On
normal days when there are no functions, many
members enjoy their meals, tea or drinks or just
sit and catch-up on their reading nestled
amongst the comfortable lawn chairs. On other
days when some special functions are held, the
lawn area gets converted to a 'dance floor' a
'quizzing area' or a 'open air music
performance' amongst other uses.
Located between the main building club verandah
and the tennis courts, the club lawn has the
Children's playground on one end and the Bar-b-q
kitchen, the Lawn bar and the Tea Bar at the other end. |
