Following Rules & Regulations apply to Members & their Guests visiting the Club

 
Minimum Dress Code:

Introduction Evenings:
Proposers, Seconders, Candidates and Members using the Phoenix & Antiquity Bar must wear National Dress/Dinner Jacket/Dark Lounge Suit with Leather shoes & socks.

Phoenix & Antiquity Bar:
National Dress/Bush Shirt/Open Neck Shirt with collar, long trousers and either shoes with socks, except when film shows are held in Phoenix, when sandals with straps/sneakers with socks may be worn.

Light Horse Bar and Wills 'Made for Each Other' Lounge:
National Dress/Bush Shirt/Open Neck Shirt with collar, long trousers and shoes with socks or sandals with straps may be worn (wearing of Chappals without straps or sneakers is not permitted).

Dining Room:
National Dress/Bush Shirt/Open Neck Shirt with collar, long trousers and shoes with socks except on Thursday, Friday Evenings & Sundays children are allowed in the Dining Room, sandals with straps/sneakers with socks may be worn.

Family Nook

 

Adult Males:
As applicable in the Main Dining Room except Leather/Leather Look chappals with straps would be permitted. (cooler, Rubber Chappals will not be allowed).

Children:
T-shirts/Shirts without collars & half pants/shorts will be allowed. Children may also come in leather chappals with straps. Children under 5 years will not be allowed.

Other Places in the Club
  • Sports Gear/Casual Dress

  • Two strapped 'V' shaped Rubber/Hawaiian Chappals & Bathroom slippers NOT permitted anywhere in the club.

  • Members & their Guests are nor expected to remove their shoes, sandals or chappals and sit barefooted anywhere in the Club, except in the swimming pool when wearing swimming costumes.

Applicable Restriction for entry of Children :

  • A person who has not reached the age of 16 years is considered to be a child as per Club's Bye-Laws .

  • Children are permitted to be present in the the club up to 10.30 p.m. on all days except on Saturdays. On Saturdays and Special nights, children have to vacate the Club premises by 7.00 p.m.

  • Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to visit the library unless accompanied by a member.

  • Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted in the Dinning Room even on Sundays or Family nights.

  • Children over 7 years but under 16 years of age may use the Dinning Room if accompanied by parents.

  • Dress : For the Dinning Room, children may wear T-shirts / shirts without collars and half pants. They may also wear LEATHER SANDALS with straps.
